You may have seen postings about what is going on around the country regarding MLK day, which is Monday.
Sue Loughlin from the TribStar got in touch with me to ask if we had anything planned for the observance. I told her we were going to discuss this at tonight's meeting and get back to her.
I think this is a great opportunity for us to get some more press while advancing the cause of economic, political, and social justice..
I think this is a natural for us. MLK was not only seeking justice for people of color, but for all of us.
I would be willing to write a press release about this. I would like to hear ideas from any of you as to what we might plan to do. In case you don't have it, I can be reached at res00f2a@frontier.com.
Sue needs to hear from us no later than Sunday, hopefully before that.

Sue also contacted me about this. I think it would be a great way to get people of color to join our cause. If we can get something together it would be wonderful.
I did mention to Sue about the Tiny Tent Event tomorrow - which I plan to attend.
I apologize for my absence lately. My daughter left this morning with her car packed to move to Arizona and I have been a little preoccupied.

Leigh knows why Ive been absent and it has not gotten any better. I will be at the Tiny Tent event but I need to sit, as standing hurts me.
